I'm trying to decide whether just to try and upgrade the speakers, or to bypass the stock audio components such as the Bose amp completely. Any info on the speakers sizes and such will be greatly appreciated. Bose (UX8) systems in Devilles from 2000 to 2005 and Sevilles from 1998 to 2004 had an eight channel audio amplifier mounted behind the rear seat cushion. 2006 Devilles might be a different story but I really can't see Bose and GM going back to an older (much older) system design. The major question as I see it is amplifier location for 2006+.
